Even though those necessities are being restored, there is extensive damage to homes and other facilities. We can help by sending money to UMCOR Disaster Relief, advance # 901670 (umcmission.org\/advanceproject\/901670). Or we can donate to the <a href=\"txcumc.org\">Texas Annual Conference<\/a>.<br \/>\nAs usual, donations can be given by writing a check to FUMC with the designation in the notation or by going to the church\u2019s website and donating online.<br \/>\n<strong>Part 2: Fasting during Lent<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/fumcschenectady.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Page-5-Image-6.png\"><br \/>\nFasting during Lent is a tradition for many people.
