Homecoming and Easter?<br \/>\nThis year we know enough,<br \/>\nto be present to this holy moment when it comes,<br \/>\nnot to delay or wait,<br \/>\nbecause now is the sacred time we are in.<br \/>\nThis year we know that this is Easter,<br \/>\neven without the sanctuary,<br \/>\nor the organ.<br \/>\nThis is Easter.<br \/>\nGod lives.<br \/>\nLife abounds.<br \/>\nHope is alive.<br \/>\nThis. Is. Easter.<br \/>\nThis is life.<br \/>\nIt doesn&#8217;t look like the one we knew,<br \/>\nand there are so many new challenges,<br \/>\nyet this is our one, holy, sacred life.<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ve found you, Holy One,<br \/>\nin the most unexpected places and moments.<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ve noticed you holding us up when we couldn&#8217;t hold ourselves up.<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ve seen you in the kindness of strangers.<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ve found wonders that were around us all along,<br \/>\nbut we were too busy to notice.<br \/>\nAnd dear one, we have grieved.<br \/>\nThe grief has reminded us to live.<br \/>\nNot to waste this life you have given us.<br \/>\nAnd so God of Good Friday and of Easter,<br \/>\nwe are here to worship you<br \/>\nwith hearts and minds<br \/>\nopen to this moment,<br \/>\nthis Sacred Day.<br \/>\nMay it transform us anew.<br \/>\nAmen<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>The Lord&#8217;s Prayer<\/h3>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Our Father who art in heaven,<br \/>\nHallowed be thy name.<br \/>\nThy kingdom come.<br \/>\nThy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.<br \/>\nGive us this day our daily bread.<br \/>\nAnd forgive us our trespasses,<br \/>\nas we forgive those who trespass against us.<br \/>\nAnd lead us not into temptation,<br \/>\nbut deliver us from evil:<br \/>\nFor thine is the kingdom, and the power,<br \/>\nand the glory, for ever.
