{"id":3471,"date":"2026-02-04T10:40:19","date_gmt":"2026-02-04T15:40:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fumcschenectady.org\/blog\/?p=3471"},"modified":"2026-02-04T10:41:25","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T15:41:25","slug":"lenten-photo-show-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fumcschenectady.org\/blog\/2026\/02\/04\/lenten-photo-show-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Lenten Photo Show 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The First United Methodist Church of Schenectady invites you to participate in its 2026 Lenten Photo Show.<\/p>\n<p>You can participate in either or both of two ways:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>SUBMIT PHOTOS THAT YOU HAVE TAKEN<\/li>\n<li>VISIT THE SHOW ON THE FUMC WEB SITE OR FACEBOOK PAGE AND AS PART OF EASTER SUNDAY SERVICE, APRIL 5, 2026<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol>\n<li>SUBMIT PHOTOS THAT YOU HAVE TAKEN<br>For each of five weeks during Lent, First United Methodist Church of Schenectady has chosen a different Lenten theme. During each of these weeks we will be accepting one to three photos that you have taken that reflect the weekly theme. The themes are:\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>February 18-24: CORRUPT<\/li>\n<li>February 25-March 3: POWERLESS<\/li>\n<li>March 4-10: FEELING LOST<\/li>\n<li>March 11-17: STRENGTH TOGETHER<\/li>\n<li>March 18-24: GREETINGS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You may submit your photos either electronically or in hard copy.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To submit your photos electronically, save them as JPG files of between 300bpi and 3MB, attach them to an email, enter \u2018Photo Show\u2019 as the subject of the email, type your name, address, telephone number, and the theme your photos represent in the body of the email, and send to<br><a href=\"mailto:fumcphotoshow@gmail.com\">fumcphotoshow@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>To submit your photos in hard copy, print them out on 8&#215;10 photo paper, enclose them and a completed copy of this form in an envelope, and send the envelope to FUMC Lenten Photo Show, 603 State Street, Schenectady, NY 12305.
