<\/figure>\n<\/div>\nGod’s steadfast love endures forever<\/p>\n
and God’s faithfulness for all Generations.<\/p>\n
God is the God of creation,<\/p>\n
of all people and all living things,<\/p>\n
and even all non-living things.<\/p>\n
God seeks the common good.<\/p>\n
God is on the side of the oppressed.<\/p>\n
God is the one who seeks just distribution of resources,<\/p>\n
starting with sabbath,<\/p>\n
and extending to all things.<\/p>\n
God is a God of abundance who made this earth with plenty.<\/p>\n
God wants us to share so all can thrive.<\/p>\n
God is the wellspring of love.<\/p>\n
God shelters us, even when no one else does.<\/p>\n
God is the one seeking the kindom.<\/p>\n
And we, dear ones, are God’s people.<\/b><\/p>\n
Called to compassion.<\/p>\n
Called to be shelter in the storm.<\/p>\n
Called to bold action to protect God’s loved ones.<\/p>\n
Called to be peace and work for peace.<\/p>\n
Called to be in a community of grace \u2013 without boundaries.<\/p>\n
Called to look for God’s hand moving us towards justice,<\/p>\n
even when it is hard to see.<\/p>\n
Called to live in the tragic gap and see how things are<\/p>\n
and how things should be and not look away.<\/p>\n
Called to build the kindom with God, even when it is hard.<\/p>\n
Called to be, and to be love.<\/p>\n
Called to trust in God’s steadfast love and faithfulness.<\/p>\n
May we hear God’s call. Amen<\/p>\n
